Gustavo has experience in advising multinational organizations in sectors like telecommunications, aerospace, retail, lodging and food companies; publishing companies, personnel search and selection, digital marketing, FINTECH organizations, electronic payment methods, educational, amongst others. His activities have been primarily the elaboration and implementation of privacy policies, contractual and operational advice for national and international data transfer, strategies development of database breaches, recognizing the flow of personal data within organizations, and performing gap analysis in relation to security measures.

He trained employee’s organizations on Labor and Operational Obligations to Compliance Privacy & Data Protection Regulations, and he has been a Lecturer in National Associations and Universities, talking about Compliance Issues and Legal Trends of Privacy, Data Protection and IT.

Additionally, he has given advice on issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Gustavo has designed the defense strategy and execution against complaints submitted to the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI), alongside legal actions against the resolutions issued by the Data Protection Authority.

He is also a former member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
